Default RENTED ACCOMIDATION

My husband & I are moving to Aussie in June we will have to live in Melbourne for 1st mth as our dog will be in quarantine for 30 days does anyone know if it is possible to rent a house for 30 days only - if so can anyone supply agents so we can sort out before we leave England

Your best bet would be a holiday rental I should think. Check out www.stayz.com.au they often have quite good deals or you could try Thegumtree

Many thanks for that - I see your in Brisbane can you let me know what the seasons are like there & rain fall would be a help still trying to work out which city to move to

Hi Trojon when we arrived 2 years ago it was a bit dry but over last 12mth we have had rain most weeks, we have not bought water since january 08, but who knows what will happen with the weather. Summer is 25/35 for about 5mth, storms at night. Fall 20/25. Winter 15/20 day time but you do get the odd 0c at night. Spring is 20/25 hope this helps

Mainly in summer not every night rain,wind,electrial,hale as big as golf balls sometimes, they follow the same route most times, luckly we live in a place that is right in the middle of the route they just come right round us we get a bit of rain but the lighting displays are good to watch with a beer. Ther is a thread on this forum about brisbane/melbourne
