Red face Rental

Hi

We are off to Perth in 2 weeks woohoo. We are looking for work when we land and have sorted a 4 week holiday rental. My question is this, if we have not sorted employment out by then will it be ok to get long term rentals from estate agents. I have a personal reference and also a ref from a previous landlord obviously money to pay the rent to !! Getting the butterflies now and have a million things running through my mind .

Wondered if anyone in Perth has been in same situation and if they could offer any advice I would be grateful

Amanda x

we had no employment and had no trouble getting a long term rental. Just gave the real estate agent the name of the estate agent in the UK we sold the house to.

Also helped that we paid 6 months up front!!

Thanks for that

We are heading for Mindarie Joondalup area, we have been 3 times and done lots of reserch.

To be honest it depends where our jobs take us. I need to be near train as I do not drive and we like this area for things to do and the houses. I cannot believe after all this time we are going in how long have you lived in Perth do you like it ???

Both these areas are within easy reach of the train.

in addition if you offer to put say 6 months rent up front it makes securing a rental that much easier
