Rental
Hi
We are off to Perth in 2 weeks woohoo. We are looking for work when we land and have sorted a 4 week holiday rental. My question is this, if we have not sorted employment out by then will it be ok to get long term rentals from estate agents. I have a personal reference and also a ref from a previous landlord obviously money to pay the rent to !! Getting the butterflies now and have a million things running through my mind :blink::rofl::blink:. Wondered if anyone in Perth has been in same situation and if they could offer any advice I would be grateful Amanda x |
Re: Rental
we had no employment and had no trouble getting a long term rental. Just gave the real estate agent the name of the estate agent in the UK we sold the house to.
Also helped that we paid 6 months up front!! |

Re: Rental
I think they wanted to contact the UK EA to confirm that the house we sold was maintained ina clean and tidy manner.
Where in Perth you heading? |
Re: Rental
Thanks for that
We are heading for Mindarie Joondalup area, we have been 3 times and done lots of reserch. To be honest it depends where our jobs take us. I need to be near train as I do not drive and we like this area for things to do and the houses. I cannot believe after all this time we are going in how long have you lived in Perth do you like it ??? A X |

A X Both these areas are within easy reach of the train. in addition if you offer to put say 6 months rent up front it makes securing a rental that much easier |
