Post Remote control car tracks

Hi everyone
We're hoping to be in Brisbane March/April next year but there is one question that my OH say's i MUST ask, so here goes:

He is the proud owner of a FG Leopard (petrol remote controled car) and needs to know if there are any racing tracks within the Brisbane area.
It could be either dirt or tarmac as he has the wheels to cope with both.

There - i've asked it now so i'm gonna do wot i do best for my hobby - putting my feet up and doing nowt!!

Alternatively he could come to the end of my road. Nearly got the side of my ute holed by a ball of dust and noise when I turned in yesterday. Bloody hoons with a petrol powered beastie on the verge.

(I wrote a note to Santa last night! )

Sure it will mean nothing about the whereabouts but when I drive from Brisbane to Wynum along Wynum Road, we do pass such a track on the left in a park as my kids go nuts every time they see it.
No idea where it is exactly but maybe a local can help.

Got this lead from a guy at work....

http://www.tracksiderc.net/main.htm

They apparently run a tarmac circuit which is located next to the shop in Brendale(northside). I was told that apparently you can hire the track for about $10 to practice, but best to check with them.

There used to be a group who meet on Sunday mornings at Capalaba Park shopping centre (opposite Bunnings).

The location makes sense. The OH can go over the road to buy up for the next weekends projects...
