thanks guys for all your help !!! my husband may of got a job transfer and i can take my job with me so on that level everythings looking good.... just got house to sell in ocean reef had 2 home opens lots looking no offers yet.... but it will happen its a nice house in good school catchment area. i will look into the removal links...cheers

Hi we are also moving from Butler Perth to the east hopefully in Jan. The info I read yes the kids start school a year later in Queensland. My youngest will not start kindy/preschool until 2010 full time. In Perth he would have started kindy 2 days a week in 2009.
There are lots of relocation firms around you just need to find the best one for you. The insurance is expensive I remember, we looked at moving a couple of years ago but ended up staying and having another baby.
Husband is booked on a flight in 2 weeks so go and look at a few areas in Brisbane.

My wife and I are torn at the mo, we're not sure to go to Adelaide or Perth.
Having seen some of the comments on this thread am moving more towards Adelaide which was our 1st choice but having been told by friends who have been to Perth they raved about it!!!
