I do own a mortgage. Quite a substantial one in fact 350k so I do know a little about the real world. I've also Lived in England and the US for a little bit so I have been to other countries. I don't have kids
What I was trying to point out with the location side of my argument is that a lot of those homes look real lovely on paper and perfect essentially and IMO its a main reason for many people wanting to leave because simply a lot of migrants have false expectations of Australia on this.
Honestly I think the responses gathered pretty much sums up that what I said was fairly accurate.
