Take a look at the reiwa website......... on the front page is a comment that the Government is taking a 'Whopping Slice' of stamp duty. This is true of course, but you'd like to think that some of that money will work it's way back to the people of WA one way or another.
Funnily enough, there is no mention of the 'Whopping Slice' that these agents make out of YOU every time you sell.
We decided to sell privately after my wife read that on average your agent will spend about 30 hours selling your home, of course this figure can change, but take just a moment to work out the hourly rate that these Muppet's are on. We were quoted 3% to sell a block of land recently...... and for what, it was only a bloody field ! So we sold it ourselves and it cost $80.
