Hi,

Can anyone tell me what costs they pay per month in Perth for the following:

Electric
Gas
Water
Council Tax (or equivalent)
Fox TV
Phone & Internet
TV Lisc (or equivalent)

or any additional costs that we have not allowed for on this list (apart from Rent or Mortgage costs)

Electric $100 per 1/4
Gas $ 60 per 1/4
Water $ 550 per year pluss 45 for 3months of water used .
Council Tax (or equivalent) $850 per year
Fox TV (I dont have it ) $ 50 - 110 per month
Phone & Internet £100
TV Lisc (or equivalent) not one out here

Petrol is about $1.35 litre

Food bill most weeks $150-200 for all 3 of us .

Living here priceless

That all sounds quite reasonable. There is 3 of us as well and I will be very happy if we can have bills in that range.

This is what it costs me each week and we've got a 4x2 with a pool and ducted air con.

Gas -12.00
Electric -25.00
Water -14.00
Phone -25.00
Broadband-12.00
Foxtel -17.00
Contents & building insurance-17.00
Rates -25.00
Shopping -230.00 (2 adults and 1 toddler)
Car insurance-16.00 (new Mitsubishi Outlander and 2001 Nissan Navara truck)

Total per week-393.00

Of course we also have mortgage + whatever else we spend on ourselves/going out/daycare.

OMG :scared: how old is she and where was she phoning? you should buy a couple of those internet phones that plug into a USB port on pc and use the internet service. You only initially pay for the phones then no bill, as its done through cable broadband etc..all parties using this service must have the same make of phone though.

Hi,

If you download Voip Cheap from the web you pay £5 initially and you can phone any UK landline for free from your PC. I think the £5 lasts a few months. Well worth it for you I would think!
