Yes,it must have been hell; offered a mere five jobs within a few weeks of arriving in the country; family, house and two cars sorted.
All this in dreadful conditions, too: that awful Brisbane winter sunshine, having to speak English, know a bit about cricket and those strange rugby sports, driving on the left, and watching The Bill.
