A question about Adelaide
Hi
We have to validate our visas by July 2009 and are on the verge of booking our validation trip via trailfinders now. We are hoping to go to Sydney for a few days then thought we might fly to Adelaide for 11 days.
Question 1 - is there enough to see and do in Adelaide for 2 adults and 2 children aged 10 and 11 for 11 days.
Question 2 - trailfinders have offered us a hotel in Adelaide called The Chifley for £737.00, has anyone stayed there and is the hotel ok (and worth that kind of price), I've had a quick look on the internet and most people say it should rated 3 star not 4 star.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

Re: A question about Adelaide
We validated our visas in Adelaide. We'd visited all the other mainland state capital cities and we liked what we saw in Adelaide and moved here just over a year ago.
Q.1 Yes there is bit it really depends what you are into. You've got great beaches (might be a bit chilly when you're here though), the Adelaide Hills, several wine regions, Kangaroo Island, the Flinders Ranges and the Outback, etc, etc.
Q.2 Not stayed there. It's on South Terrace though, which is the southern boundary of the CBD (city centre). Most of the main parts of the CBD are closer to North Terrace.
