Default Queensland Regional Locations

Hi

I am about to embarke on researching the regional locations in Queensland for which you can apply for an SIR visa, as per

http://www.sd.qld.gov.au/dsdweb/htdo...2.cfm?id=16040

and wondered if any one else has some info?

Not got a scooby I'm afraid.

What sort of info are you after. You should get some useful info from those guys already out there who might have gone that route. Asleep at the moment

Yep, you'll have more luck in a few hours. Which places specifically are you looking at?

Regional Queensland is basically anywhere away from Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast.

That's a lot of real-estate.

If you find an employer in regional QLD keen to hire you, it would be smarter to go for an employer nominated RSMS visa and forget about SIR. Details on RSMS are in the employer nomination section of the DIMIA website, or download migration booklet 5.
