Can anyone tell me what the take home pay is for a p3 paramedic? I have heard so many different quotes I don't know what to think

looking at previous threads I have been interested in someone stated the take home pay is $1330 per fortnight. I believe the $70000 something per annum give by queensland ambulance service in their recruitment jargon is based on a shed full of overtime.

I think that the average salary of 70-odd thousand dollars was correct, but it was an average which included the remote paramedics (who can work for 24hrs on-call which attracts lots of bonuses) as well as the urban paramedics who are on significantly less. UK paramedics will be based mostly in urban areas, where the salary is well below the average.

I take home between 1600 and 1800 at an urban station, it doesn't get that many late finishes or broken meals. I can expect that to rise by $120 once I start to salary package my mortgage.
