OK real issue is work vs location. There are nice locations near the beach that you can afford but there is no work. Near the beach and near a good working location = 'loads a money'.
And a village/town in Oz can be a very long way from anywhere, 7 hours drive to hospital for example.
That why most people live in the burbs and have to travel to work every day.

I,m not sure.Close to a beach,village,not city,good schools,plenty of work for hubby and quite.Somewhere like in Home and Away.I don't think there is such place,hub keeps reminding it's only t.v but it would be nice.I like the look of tas to be honest,it's just the job thing.

Why not try ''Northern NSW ''
No water restrictions and 20 mins from the Goldcoast , 35 mins to Byron bay, and some of the best clean beaches around.
We,re living in Kingscliff , its a small village/town right on the Far northern coast line "" NSW'' .
All my work is on the Goldcoast and its so easy reach and when the Tugan by-pass is finished next year it will be even easier.
