I really have no idea, but look at www.qantas.co.uk
or phone on: 0845 7 747 767 and ask them direct, may be the best option

Singapore Airlines will give you 40kgs if you have an unused pr visa in your passport. At no extra cost. I think several other airlines will do the same. Sometimes there are restrictions on whether a stopover will be allowed though. Do a search here on extra luggage allowance, there's a lot on it.

We are flying with Singapore Airlines and have been given the 40kg allowance. Certainly found the staff extremely helpful and they even confirmed the additional bagage allowance by email.

it is 20kg on a normal one-way, double baggage allowance (40kg), is on a migrant fare/pre-arranged with the airline. this is going via the east (hkg/sin etc).
you need to contact the airline asap if you have already booked it, but not advised that it is a one-way with visas. most airlines used to have migrant fares, but the double baggage is just normally given on one-way fares now.

Hi
We are also going with Emirates.
Phone to find out and was told you get 40kg luggage and 7 for hand luggage as long as you have visa on your passport.
Think you are best to phone Quanta's airlines.

Do a search - this has been discussed HEAPS before.
However one tip - make sure that says the allowance on your ticket or you have confirmation in writing.

Will remember.
When we phoned up about the 40kg we asked if they could put it in writing.
So when we printed out our tickets it said it at the top.
Hope thats a help.
Did i spell everything ok
