That was us the last couple of storm warnings, nothing much, am getting a bit relaxed about them, have to remind myself to think back to last year when we went for a quick surf and came back to find a 20 M tree through the roof of one of the jobs :scared: Quite a surreal moment standing in bikini and board shorts gawping at newly roofed house with gum tree upside down in it. Thankfully house was unoccupied and insured.

Looking forward to the rain which we so badly need.

We had a 10 minute hail storm at about 1:30, they weren't huge - about the size of a 50 cent piece, it stopped and the sun came out immediately. Looking a bit dark again now though. If it could stay away until I have done three gym runs I would be grateful

Ahh, may be out of luck - thunder has just started.

We (admin for the SES) spent the afternoon taking calls mainly from the Paddington and Ashgrove areas about roofs damaged or missing, also some calls from Wynnum, and the Esk area.
Lots of power lines down, so there may be posters with damage out there - it went through Wynnum and Cleveland in quite a nasty way.
We are based at Kedron on Brisbane's northern edge, and it was a black as night with us for a while, hail, thunder, rain, and we even felt the building - a solidly built 3 storey block - shake once. Nastiest storm I've been in - hope everyone out there is OK.

Got caught in the storm today when I was in the valley, waited the storm out only to get soaked by a lorry driving through a large puddle

We didn't really have any decent storms last year, hope these continue and we get some decent rain!
