When we took on our rental I viewed it on the Tuesday and it was ours from the Friday!! Also offered to pay 3 months in advance and got it for $20 a week cheaper.

Do you know where on the GC you want to rent/live??

We're aiming for Robina. Here, as soon as we handed in our 2 month notice where we are renting, the agents started showing people round our place but obviously there is a 2 month wait before they can move in. Wherever i've looked on rental websites in oz all the properties seem to either be available there and then or within max 2 weeks time. Dont know whether to book temp accommodation for a week, 2 weeks or a month??

Not sure what to suggest as we were lucky enough to stay with relatives for 15 wks when we arrived!!!!

Maybe look for somewhere that you can book 2 weeks and have the option to extend at short notice should you wish too????

Robina, not far from us in fact i work at the centre there

Do you need to consider schooling for kids?? C x

hi
there are lots of complexes in robina and surrounds for rental.
we rented at villas tijuana, and there often seems to be short term lets there..or at the complex across the road, Hacienda.
have a look at www.seqrents.com.au and they actually usually tell you when property is available from. if you are lucky and can pay few months rent up front you may be able to secure it from over there.
Robina is lovely.. close to everything.. you won't be sorry..
