Present for Aussie relatives...
#1
We're visiting relatives (born and bred Ozzies) in Perth next year (from my wife's side) and we thinking about buying a small present for them from the UK.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Would love to get them something not available in Oz.

I have to agree with the Harrods idea, I find buscuits work well. They are also good for Xmas time

I have a really nice collection of bone china mugs from Harrods which my parents brought every year. I have since begun to supplement with bone china English Heritage mugs with historical scenes on. They are pretty good.
Like Polly, I usually bring back something British themed for the work colleagues - pens, bookmarks, coasters etc and I have a friend who always gives me a Yorkshire calendar.
Customs have problems with foodstuffs so to be very sure, you could just avoid them.

Yup. Have to agree with the Harrods thing. Bring some china mugs or tea towels. Towels won't take up much weight, but the bone china mugs are so nice. Little things like key chains are good, too.
