both my wife are resciding in Oz on a 457 visa till oct 2011.

my wife has just found out she is pregnant - due in feb 09

will my newborn be an australian citizen or just a british citizen?

any advice would be welcomed

we looked into this before..

i you have a child whilst on a 457 visa i dont think the child gets citizenship..

No, not if on a temp visa like the 457, only if on a PR visa.
