OH is four months pregnant . Anyone out there currently pregnant or recently given birth in Adelaide? If so, what's your experiences of the Mt Barker/Flinders Medical Centre/Women's & Children's Hospital in Adelaide .

I used to work at WCH in the paediatric neurology dept and in the paediatric palliative care unit for a short while. It's a great hospital as far as I'm concerned. My former boss had all 5 of her children there and said the care was top notch.

There are a couple of nurses on here who work at Flinders and hopefully they will be along soon.

Misses is 3 months or so, going for second scan tomorrow. Will be having it at Mount Barker. Private room for everybody apparently, so far she says it's much better than England (Peterborough).

I was pregnant when I spent some time in Australia a few years ago and had a few check ups and my 20 week scan at Adelaide Women's & Children's Hospital and they were great.

Thanks. We went to have a look around Mt Barker hospital today. People we spoke to were very friendly and helpful and it all looked pretty good to us.
