Default PR at last

Just had to say Hi to old friends and let everyone know that I have my permanent residency. Been a long time coming. Separated from my OH a year ago due to his hitting the bottle again. Losing his job blah blah blah. Being asked to leave the country cos we were on a 457. Supposed to be a new start, yeh right. It doesnt work.
Must say I have great admiration for the people at Immigration. They couldnt have been more helpful to me and my daughter.

Im very happy now although was severely homesick for about 9 months when we first came out. I have a good job, in a wonderful new relationship with an amazing, (did I say £10 POM) man. My daughter,(17 at the time) after I had to carry her onto the plane, is very settled. Going to college, has a real honey of a boyfriend. We are staying put!!!

I doubt if I will post again as my time is done. Thank you BE for all the info so freely given over the past 2 years.

Good luck you lot. Hope it all works out as it eventually did for me.

Louise
