A native forest scene in the Macedon Regional Park on a higher part of the range




Pretty sure the Eucalypt in the middle is a Mountain Ash.

Yea - the view's amazing - all the ships waiting outside the dock. No, not near Barrack Heights - another 45 mins south of there.

Those are great. The area seems very similar to the Southern Highlands round here - rolling green paddocks.

1. Shoal Bay Beach we stayed a few weeks ago very pretty and cannot wait to swim there in summer

2. A little church while driving out near barrington tops.

3. A park just outside the entrance to Hunter Valley gardens today having an ice cream and taking in the view

Yep, heaps of this sort of countryside right through the south east of the country. Of course it usually browns off a fair bit in summer and in severe droughts, but very green a fair bit of the time.

I love the South Coast of NSW by the way, particularly the area between Bega and Batemans Bay. There is some quite spectacular country around there.

These photos might do more for Victoria's and Australia's reputation as not being all sand and sea and special flora- as has ever been done before....nice.

Albeit a long row from SW WA, though central to Cape Tribulation in FNQ.

This is the middle of our garden - its like a little adventure trail all on its own

Oooooo how I'd love to have some decent rivers like that close to where we are, then I could take my kayak out for the day!!!

Cape Tribulation's a great spot isn't it. Horrible day when I went there unfortunately so my photos are a bit shite.

Ive tried dozens of times to put up some photos of Darwin and the surrounding area but for some reason they just wont load up
