Is it possible to negotiate rates on a shared container??
We are getting quotes right now for a shared container, average volume quoted is around 650 cubic feet.
Can we negotiate these rates or is that only possible when you have a full container?
Quotes vary from £2800 to £3300

We have had a quote for £1800 for a shared containter from a local company. We asked them for a cash deal and got it down to £1200!
So, yes you can definately negotiate.

I don't suppose they are based around London or the South-east by any chance?
I wonder if the larger companies do a cash deal too?
And importantly, how did the packing go and did it all arrive safely?

Yes it is a big reduction, although we haven't used them yet, we are still
waiting for our visa's. :scared:
We are in South Wales so they are quite a way from you sorry.
I should also add, my hubby does know the MD quite well too, so maybe that has something to do with the reduction amount, but i do think that if you don't ask, you don't get! So it is worth asking. (i never pay full price for anything! )
