Default Positive lepto

Had call from vets to say Rosie's lepto test has come back positive. Said not to worry as this was very common. Got to re do it next week and hope it stays the same or drops. It's cutting it fine to get a negative result as she is due to fly on 11th June. Any tips on how to get it down? I read somewhere not to let them near dirty water, is that true?
Something else to stress about!

Dont worry to much they have probably just detected a trace from the vaccine. Ours was the same but passed the re-test, now he's chasing roos instead of rabbits!!

Happened to one of our dogs, second test came back negative. Apparently it is quite common, do not worry.

Hi

Our do has just landed in Sydney after having positive lepto tests. Our dummy test showed that it was postive 1:100 but negative 1:400 so we knew then that the official first test would be out. This was the case but had stayed the same as the first. We then got another official test carried out 14 days later (resutls came back 6 days before he flew) which showed the same result so we were ok to fly but the leves had either stayed the same or dropped.

Fingers crossed...it's a worrying time...

Cheers

Ginny

Thanks everyone for your reassurance. It seems to be a common thing so trying not to worry.
Aly I don't think it can be from booster jabs, she hasn't had the lepto jab since Jan 2005, but who knows?
