Police checks v CRB

Police checks v CRB
As a teacher I have a current enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check (just been re-done). Given that this is more detailed than a PCC, is it accepted as an alternative by DIMIA?

Re: Police checks v CRB
Along a similar line, I work in mental health (I'm not a nurse). I am going to Aus on my partners 457 so don't need a police check for the visa. But should I get a police check done to show I have no record, my latest CRB is less than a month old and as OP says is more detailed?
