Police checks - is that all you get?
Just received our police checks letter back which has some blurb and then states
From the personal details supplied in your request there is no information held about you in the Person Record category of the Police National Computer.
Is that it? Does that mean that we're law abiding, good character types?
I expected something more - not sure what though
TTFN,
Karen

This is so funny, i did an almost identical post to yours when i received my police check!!
First i had a letter which said the same as yours, which underwhelmed me enourmously!!! i could have forged it, but then a week later i received a blue certificate, which had authentication(spelling!) marks on it. This is what i sent to them.

Thanks everyone.
I did have fears that I hadn't filled in the forms correctly...
Now we just have to get through the medicals next week....

Must admit I expected more as well, quite surprised it doesn't really look all that formal exept for the blue stripes. Well at least this thread has confirmed I did it right as well.
So to all that have not received theirs yet, when it appears and its a lone sheet of paper, with one sentence on it, that looks like it must be wrong its right!!!!
