Smile Pls help, another TRA application!

Hi there

My hubby is a self-employed builder (plasterer cum carpenter). Can anyone advise what do we need to submit to TRA and would it be easier/have better chance to nominate 1 skill instead of 2? Did all the previous employments have to be continual?

Has anyone out there had made a successful application with DIMIA without having worked for 12 over the last 18 mths?

Any comments are gratefully received!

Cheers
Katie

Hi and welcome Katie (see its your first post)

To put it in nutshell, I don't envy you one little bit, :scared: my hubby is a self employed bricky and the paperwork is horrendous to get through because everything has to be so precise. Have you got an agent to help you ?As you can see by our time, we've just lodged our application to the TRA but it took a few attempts cos' our agent kept sending it back to us as it wasn't "precise" enough. Anyway, with the help from the guys floatin around on this forum and myself we can get you through it. Good luck and feel free to ask us ??????'s
