hi were confused can anybody help

Not been on for a while but glad to know theres a name for our condition - ping pong poms. Went to adelaide in jan, had trouble finding rental so went to ballarat in vic - then came back to uk after 2 months! trouble is, now wee back r wondering if we have made a mistake & thinking of goin back again!
OH is a plumber & found work in vic but pay & hours were crap. R there any plumbers in SA out there, and can anybody advise on how easy it is to get licence as vic was expensive & difficult. Also, does anyone know what the wages r like for plumbers in SA. Also was wonering about new rules for citizenship - do they take it from when youre visa was granted or from when u arrived in oz & had youre visa validated? We were granted visa in april 2007 & arived oz 8th jan 2008. Do we have to wait 2 or 4 years before we can get citizenship? hope this makes sense. Glad 2 know we r not the only ones confused about staying or going back again.

Think citizenship is 4 years needed to have arrived by 1st Sept 07 visa issued prior to July 1st 07
