Perth is really beginning to hot up now, after a long and wet winter.
Take a look at my website, lots of links for interesting places and things to do in Perth.

HI Pam
we are hoping to go to Perth in 2006, I have lived there before and have citizenship, but my hubby is actually in Perth now validating his visa. We are still waiting for the house to sell, then its off to sunny Perth--forever!!! :) :)

Good luck with everything.

Aren't you nervous? I am! :o
There seems to be alot of people who do know people out there already, I'm a bit worried about settling in, but I suppose it's all part of the adventure!

Do you have children?

No, we don't have children.

I am nervous about finding jobs! Other than that I am not worried. But the job thing is quite a big worry. But then I tell myself not to be silly - we'll find something ...

We're off to Perth mid-Jan 2006. The children to start school at the start of Feb.

Please don't tell me how close that is - really looking forward to it but so much to organise still ! The adventure begins.

We have been out there for holidays for the last three years and have some friends there which is a help but you will find there are a lot of Brit expats out there.

Dh has a couple of business colleagues here that he knew previously, but otherwise we knew no-one here. But the Aussies are so very friendly that finding new friends is a total breeze. We're having trouble finding time to take up all the invites!! It is a wonderful surprise - we didn't expect to settle in so quickly. We have one daughter, 8, and the school gate is a marvellous place to get chatting, and if you get involved in school activities it helps too.

Good luck - I'm sure you'll settle down in no time. :)

Hi Suzy

I notice you are in Buckinghamshire. Where abouts.
I am in Milton Keynes. Myself, hubby and 15 month old son are planning to go to Perth hopefully early 2008. Hubby has a trade which is on MODL list but has to do 12 months recent experience in job. Done 5 months now so can start process June 2006.
Doing a recci in Feb 2006 as never been to perth before only to East Coast previously.
