Default Perth Suburbs and Hospitals

Can anybody recommend some good suburbs of Perth to live in...I'll probably be working at the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children or a Hospital with a Paediatric Dept.

Looking for a suburb within about a half hour to 45 minute drive to a hospital and not too expensive...

Also, would you say there are a lot of nursing jobs available in Perth?

Cheers :-)
