Perth Question
Guys,
Is it possible to live near the beach in Perth and be able to commute to the CBD in say 30mins on the train?
Plus, would you be able to rent for say $350 pw in that area.
Ta,
Paul.

Re: Perth Question
Lots of variables here
How many rooms do you need? Have you kids? Do you need a garden? How near is near. WE are 5 mins drive for instancce. DO you want walking distance?

Re: Perth Question
Depends on if you had a ride to the train station or not.
Unfortunately the train is a good distance fromt he beach and busses can take a half hour to get there in thier own right.
Train is pretty much 20 minutes to the city from everywhere. (Within reason)

The only real options are Cottesloe/Swanbourne/Mosman Park, their Train stations are within a 10-15min walk of the beach. Depending on how big a place you needed you would get "something" for $350pw
If a 2 Bed apartment is what your after then see if you can find anything at the Island View Apartments on Wellington St in Mosman Park (think its no 10) they were completely renovated a couple of years ago, and a fair amount are out on rent, pretty handy spot and they were in the high $200's to high $300's PW depending on how good the views are.
