Perth is the place to be, everything you ever wanted from australia, everything you pictured it would be, thats Perth.

It is far better set out with better roads and public transport than any other city here. I could go on but basically being a newer city it has a new world feel that places on the east coast dont. The east has more of an old world traditional feel to me and if I wanted that I would have stayed in england.

People say its isolated but theres plenty to see and do, if you want to get away people here travel north or more often to the south where there are many great towns and places to stay for a weekend or holiday.

Any place is what you make of it, your experience will be different from another persons experience...

It's very funny, only found it when trying to find a counterpoint to your post (unfortunately couldn't get your link to open properly). Wish they did a worstofbrisbane.

Only spent 1 month in each of these 2 places and Brisbane would be my choice from my experiences.
