But not as common on WA, they're everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised at how few there are in Brisbane in comparison. I like spiders but don't particularly love red backs (especially after my sister was bitten by one when we were kids and didn't tell mum and dad because she didn't want to postpone our holiday and had to put up with her vomiting and moaning next to me in the car all the way from Newman to Perth hehe).

My area used to be peaceful but we now have three within one street who bark all day, 8.30 till 5.30, and if their owners are out at the weekends - they bark then too. And no, none of them are ever seen being walked or taken anywhere in the car that could lead to a walk.
Now i know why my ex-wife made me live in the garden

Give me humidity any day of the week.
Can't say I loved the humidity and it could just be my imagination but the air in perth seems more polluted in terms of dust particles. The hot winds in summer just make it feel dirty in comparison to qld where the humidity seems to keep the air a little cleaner.

Fortunately the humidity in Brisbane only lasts for a couple of months, as does winter.

Yeah the high humidity may not last but then you get the lack of humidity, 10% is no more enjhoyable than 90%.

It rarely hits 70+ down here so it's good. Amazing the difference in 100Kms.
