Hi Gelsal
We have lived on the Bayside, Brisbane for Six years and our experiance regarding Engineers jobs is there has always been plenty of vacancies in general but regarding specific areas it varies, so it really depends on what area of engineering you will go into.
Regarding CPEQ you can work in a company without that as an Engineer.

Best of luck which ever side of OZ you land in.

Thank you very much for the comprehensive information, you summed it all and sounds promising for me. Could you please suggest for me a couple of suburbs with good quality of life and excellent public primary schools so I can start doing some research for rental. Location and distance from the CBD is not really a big issue as I still don’t know where my work site will be. My main concern is good public schools and friendly neighborhood. It will be for (6-12months) until we are decided where to buy, who knows.
