I have been reading this website for the past year, and still deliberating whether to take the leap to Oz or not. BUT on the responses that some people give to the threads on this website, I think I would prefer to stay here!
People are asking for genuine advice - take this thread for instance - and there are some inappropriate responses! What is wrong with asking for a community (i.e Asians, non Asians) surely it is personal choice. If you relocate in the UK to another city I would ask the same question! It doesn't make me racist! If an Asian asked for an Asian community would you have given the same response!!!
The more I read this website, the madder I get - give the poor "new comers" a start, you have all relocated to a new life but you still seem bitter and twisted in your comments.
I apologise for my comments to the genuine BE members.

I dont think anyone was really moaning about the OPs remark except the troll, but any comment whcih is anti-anything will offend someone and i'm sure the OP realised his remark would get some people backs up, but as its something that matters to him then i guess the question had to be asked.
Perths suburbs are pretty multi cultural places, you are quite likely to find asians, italians, poms and other immigrant races all mixed through each other. Sure some areas have a higher number of a particular race than others but these are mainly the more northern suburbs where you will find that your neighbours are more likely to be poms than anything else.
Perhaps if you could give an idea of your budget for buying a house then some of us could give a better idea on suitable suburbs.

Like I said in one of my posts if someone had written a blanket statement that they didn`t like living next to Scots or English or Indians or Jews or Americans then I`m sure a lot of people would have commented. The comment was unecessary and detracted from a genuine query just like the reply by me,myself&I, who by being so agressive in replying lost the point they were making.
