Passed skills assessment at last
Just checked my e-mail, finally got word from our agent that we have passed our skills assessment. Can not get the smile off my face! Sent all the documents away in August, due to VETASSESS loosing photos and our lawyer also loosing photos etc etc has resulted in a slight delay! Should only have taken 3 months instead of 6 months. Sending all the paperwork away next week for the second half of the process, hopefully that part might be a wee bit quicker!

no not really originally we was heading brisbane/gold coast
BUT
hubby is a electrician and it seems that in SA its easier for him to get his licence and with house prices a little cheaper we are thinking of heading to adelaide, am just researching the area and schools etc at the moment, we may do a reccie to validate our visa and visit both adelaide and brisbane, then decide from there
i take it from you name your hoping to settle in brisbane?? which side of brissy you looking at??

Not decided yet on where we will settle, been looking at Mango Hills, North Lakes, Albany Creek. We might initially stay around the CBD (no kids yet so we both wouldn't mind being close to the bars/restaurants etc). Heading out in June for a few weeks so will have a look around then. Had thought about Adelaide as cheaper housing etc but OH has family in Brisbane so that is one of the main reasons for our choice.
