I,ve not been able to find what i'm after looking through the original jobs/wages thread so here goes, I'm a corgi gas engineer in the Uk ( i know its not recognised down under and am aware that i'm going to have to do the TAFE course to get licenced/registered). My plan is to move to Adelaide area as the housing is more affordable but i'm wondering what rates gas engineers could expect to be paid. I realise that its probably not going to be as much as the UK as the climate dictates the need for gas to a certain extent but if anyone could shed any light on the subject i would be more than grateful.

By the way, great site and many thanks to everyone out there, i'd probably have ripped all my hair out by now ( instead of just half ) if it wasn't for the help and advice received from the many people out there.
