i wonder if anyone has any info on parents visa, i have looked at different threads but cannot get info of the price i have also looks at immi website but all the prices look different but all the "Who this visa is for?" looks the same

we are looking to move to australia me OH and 2 children. i am an only child and would like my parents to be able to come with us. would they be able to get the cheeper visa or would they need the one that costs tens of thousands of dollars.

any info would be appreciated

Hi we've gone through the same situation the requirements are 50% of
your immediate family needs to be in australia ,ie three children would
require two children to emmigrate also if they are retired or close to
retirement they would have to deposit £30.000 to the oz goverment
non-refundable + medicals.

that infor was supplied to my inlaws from an immigration company.

thankyou i am confused, when i looked at the Parent (Migrant) visa (subclass 103) this lookes so much cheaper and wondered if this option was open to us.

The "cheap" 103 visa has large waiting list and has yearly quota.Expect to wait 10 to 15 years for this.The "expensive" 143 visa has a larger quota.Expect to wait 18 months.
