Question Par air to send pets

Has anyone used Par Air to send their pets - have a golden retriever and cat we hope to fly out in September - their quote is very reasonable - just wondered if anyone had any views as our dog is extremely nervous and we are a bit worried about the whole process for him.

We used par air last december to fly our extremely nervous lab/cross dog out to Oz! He is 9 years old and we really weren't sure if he would make the journey. Par Air were very good and am pleased to say the dog made it in one piece and is now loving it here!

Hi
We used Parair and our dog arrived safely we got him home this Saturday.

I found the woman in the office a bit standoffish though and would have preferred to speak to someone who maybe tried to understand how i was feeling. But all said the dog was looked after well, and thats the important bit.

We used ParAir to transport our cat to Perth and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Her paperwork wasn't completed correctly and she was held over in Singapore, so when I rang Byford to find out if she had arrived ok (on the day we were leaving our house!) they didn't know where she was I rang ParAir only to be told that they had no idea where she was and would take up to 4 hours to find out. Eventually, Carol at Byford contacted Qantas and sorted it all out for us. The owners of ParAir were very rude and unhelpful to say the least. When we had to return to the UK we used an Aussie company and then Little Acres Quarantine centre near Peterborough who were both excellent.
