Kala, I feel your pain girl!!!

I am at the point of having to have the house empty by Monday!!

We have had 2 car boot sales and sold and given away LOADS to friends and to charity. I still feel like we have so much left....

I cannot believe the amount of stuff I have accumulated in just 3.5 years. I arrived here with 2 suitcases....and now I had a 3 bedroom house full of stuff...

Scary really...

kala...first of all...take a chill pill!!

when the packers came to us it was a monday and we left our house on the wed and flew on the thurs!!! :scared:
the main thing is to have hopefully chucked all your crap away..

..we put stickers onto things that werent going ie pieces of furniture etc or onto cupboard doors that werent to be emptied!
i stripped the beds first thing and put the washer on...and any last washing that needed to be done..my mum did it hehe

they went into each room and systematically packed everything..opened drawers etc and packed the stuff..so all clothes etc that wasnt to go we placed on our mattress or in suitcases and put stickers on them...

you dont even have to take down pictures or anything hun..they wil do it for you!
they will take beds apart..everything....well 'crown; did!
mind you my hubby did a lot to help though.

the only thing I found a bit embarassing was that I hadnt had chance to pull all pieces of furniture out and...oooooooooooooohhhhh the muck behind

the men are used to people not being ready...cos ofcourse not many of us have shifted all our wordly goods overseas before....

good luck
