Oprah - Kitty Kelley (hardback)

amazon.co.uk - £17.46 + £8.78 delivery = £26.26 = $43.30
fishpond.com.au - $42.97 + $5.99 delivery = $48.96
bookdepository.com - $29.79 + free delivery = $ 29.79

That's not even close!

Amazon.com US$15.00 + US$4.99 delivery = US$19.99 = A$22.21 = £13.38

It shows it is worth checking all options.

Amazon UK and Fishpond are closer to each each other, but I always use bookdepository myself

Wow - that's half the price of amazon.co.uk!

But don't forget to add postage costs

Someone recently said we should compare RRP's not actual prices, I wonder if they would agree this time

Amazon RRP: £49.99 + £8.78 delivery = £58.77 = $96.97
Fishpond.com.au : $99.97 Free Delivery (over $45)

Funny pricing though from Fishpond....

game-lane.com.au AU$ 57.50 +$6 delivery

Game365.co.uk : £31.99 ($52.46) Free delivery to Australia

The reason why I didn't use RRP was because we were making a direct price comparison between Amazon and Fishpond.

I have to say, that 'game lane' price is extremely good for Australia.

There are many such good pricings, we just need to look for them a fair bit more than in the UK.

Things aren't always cheaper on Amazon. Just had a look at an Xbox game and when you add postage (Amazon.com AU$87) it's a lot cheaper to buy it online from CD Wow (AU$70).

Why would you buy a game from Amazon.com (the US site) when you can get better prices from the UK?

I bought Mass Effect 2 today from game365.co.uk . Cost $52 including free postage to Australia. You just can't get better than that. (CDWow $75.56).

But if you were buying 5 books then I reckon Amazon would be cheaper.

Why buy from the UK for $52 when you can buy in Australia for $44.95 + $4.90 postage = $49.85 ? (or less with a discount code)
