Our first snake
We were walking around Mount Tambourine over the weekend and as we were walking down the path in the rain forest i heard some rustling right next to me so turned to see what it was and saw a snake moving rather sharp-ish away from me, so pleased it was in the other direction. When we got home we had a look in our book and found out it was a green tree snake and totally harmless to humans. Still Kaz and Elise lost some weight when they saw it .

Hi Karen
Don't know if you saw a thread about snakes that I started a couple of months ago - it was detailing "our first snake"...... which just happened to be in our garage....... and was identified as a red bellied black snake....... the second most deadly snake in Australia! :scared: A bit too close for comfort!
Hope your snake viewings are few and far between and continue to be friendly ones!
