ok its late, its been a long day.. but can I say just one (or two ) things...

The Whitlams..first time I heard Blow Up The Pokies I knew I was going to love them.. and then after buying all their CDs I knew I did...

so tonight.. out for a few beers with the other 'arf, when I was presented with a ticket... Shit!!! its our anniversary.... guess who forgot... yep.. damned...

Christ what a great gig, only about 200 of us.. in a club.. This the Whitlams !!!! not some crap group.. Tim sells records...

the only thing that ruined it (for a short time) was some Tw8t slagging down Bournemouth..? I have no idea why.. and when I asked him if he had ever been it turns out no.. but he knew some one who didnt go.. so therefore he can by right compare Bournemouth with Venice (hey it was his conversation..)... I love this country.. but I wish it would grow up.. and get some security... it might stop all the racist shit I have to hear each day...

anyway apart from most of the racist crap ( watch today tonight, where are the abos on TV? in your work place?) still love it..

thanks for letting me have this late rant....

PS loved the Whitlams !!!!!

Its "No Aphrodisiac" for me, so sad, so pertinent, so much pain.

Miss the whole Aus live band scene to be honest.

Its weird in the UK The Whitlams would have been at a Stadium or at least Brixton.. but over here.. there are in a bunch of clubs?

its not unusual, last month at the Mooloolaba Surf Club (in the middle of no where) Evermore were playing for $8 !!!!!!

thats what I love about Aussie music.. great bands.. easily accessible...

Its funny the guy was comparing Bournemouth to Venice.. now I love Venice.. in facts it my most favourite place on earth..

my only link to Bournemouth is the fact my mate went to Uni there.. and I saw Tony De Vit at the Opera House...(Slinky's what a club!!!!)

But this idiot was mouthing off that Bournemouth had no history or anthing (?? I didnt bother correcting his grammar.. or spelliing )

Although my line of.. where I come from we have windows and glass older than your country.. didnt go down well.. I think we both came to an understanding....

yep.. he's a tw*t.. and like him I am some late immergrant....
