What was that on Meridian Tonight?
"Armed seige in Ancorage Park... An unnamed woman in her mid 30s, has been holding a prospective buyer to ransom with a sawn-off digeridoo..."
:scared: Emigration can do strange things to you... :scared:

here's ya update -

They actually turned up!!!!!

I reckon they liked it...they said they wanted Anchorage Park....and they wanted a townhouse........doing well so far! Although why they want a 4 bed townhouse when there's only the two of them is beyond me.

They kept commenting on how big all the rooms are and how we had good storage ...can't work that one out myself as I'm always struggling to find homes for everything!

They said they'll give us a ring....but I'm not getting my hopes up because if I do I'll be GUTTED if they don't want it.

All in all I felt lots of positive vibes from them but then again lots of peeps on here have had people look round their houses and gushed over them but not offered. So you just don't know

Here's hoping....

All i will say is sounds promising but keep your feet on the ground and the rest of us will keep our bits crossed that they 'make you an offer you can't refuse'!

Petra
whats' there position? how quickly do you/they want to move? have they got their finance in place? all things you need to ask your agent when 'considering' the offer! Best of luck mate

Footie - I'm hoping we're gonna bag this buyer.....its just a question of 'how far will they go???'........without buggering off completely!

Rach...they've approached us direct...we had an ad in our local Safeway so we're negotiating directly with them....you never know I may escape agents fees all together (fingers crossed) He told me on the phone he'd spoken to his mortgage bloke about money etc but said he couldn't go too far...they really wanted detatched...blah blah blah.. Trouble was the phone line wasn't brilliant either AND I had 2 chimpmunks gibbering in my ear Oh AND they've not sold their own yet

My theory is whenever someone puts an offer in on a house its always the lowest they think they can get away with....question is...just how far CAN they go??
