So about 10 years ago we we first went to Perth and thought "one day" we'd like to live there.
About 5 years ago we bought some land and built a house.
About 3 years ago we applied for PR and were accepted.
On 1 January we said "only a year to go".
And now it's one month until we leave Singapore after nearly 14 years, go back to the UK for Christmas, then to Perth.
I'm excited/terrified/bloody busy.
I'd just like to thank all those very helpful people who have patiently replied to my past (and, no doubt, future) questions on topics that they've replied to many times before, like shipping, insurance, schools etc.
(Takes a deep breath and gets out "to do" list..........)

You bought land and built a house before you even knew you could move here?
Good luck with your move.

We'd already spoken to an agent and knew we'd qualify, were just waiting for the right time to apply. But we figured we were hedging against further price rises, and house would be investment if we didn't live in it ourselves.
