Apparently he is having a medical at the mo. Doing a bit of dropping trousers and coughing
We must do that drink. Talk about it at the next meet.
Can you send good luck and all the rest to Nessa et al please. They must be like headless chickens at the mo.

Will not be at the next meet, but let us know when your free for a drink.
Seeing Nessa at the weekend, will pass on your message. I think they are getting really excited now. Can not wait to get there, leave a week Monday.
Hope to speak soon

Well done!!!!!
Same thing happened to me, only difference with my application is the fact I had a weekend inbetween Posting to AHC Thursday night, payment the next day (friday) then the weekend and tuesday delivery... and I was out, taking Sam my wife to work. I had to wait another 3 hours before I could go and pick up my parcel.
You will be so relieved that you have finally got it, I know I was, couldnt wait to get here. We have been here a little over 2 months now. Not missing UK at all. We moved to Sydney and both found jobs pretty quick. Got the drivers license (2nd attempt....
had to do a poxy knowledge test), My Tax file number came through within a week of ordering online from the website
http://www.ato.gov.au
Dont do what I did, got the job, started and then applied for the TFN...DOH! never mind all is well, just need to get the old Medicare card organised, that should be easy enough.
Oh one word of warning, The Drivers License is the path to all things. Without it, its a pain in the arse.
So where abouts you moving to?
Another tip...Fly business class with Singapore airlines, Had a great time, did everything apart from wiping ones botty...superb. Gave us 3 glasses of champers beforewe left the ground
Anyway...Congrats and well done, all the prodding and tests and forms and life histories are worth it eh???

Thanks for that guys. Although straightforward, you still worry. Anyway cleared out files today - no more booklet 1 etc. Computer seems to be working faster LOL.
Heading for Gold Coast next July - if the house sells
Love to fly Business but not sure the finances or hubby would agree to that. I think "sod it, new life, go for it" he looks at the price and says "we could buy blah blah blah with that"
Love him
Glad everything is going well with you and you're settled.
