I emigratd to Queensland in My 2007 and returned Jan 2008 with My partner is still over there.I was weak couldn't cope with my PMT and persuaded ever so easily our 15 year old son that it was right and we were going back to the Uk He wasn,t totally unhappy but never really complained until i added my PMT.We sent him home to the Uk in October and i HAD TO RETURN DUE TO unforseen CIRCUMSTANCES .I came back ,.....but i knew before i left Mackay that i had settled.I have been back in the UK since 21st Jan 2008 and have regretted evert minute.I have always had really close tye's with my Famiy and friends buut spoke to them more via msn than i do since i;ve been back.I think u have to give it more time than i did and i just wish i could turn back the clock......

Mackay is the worst place I have had the misfortune to live in 11 years in this country, most AUSTRALIANS would refuse to live there, let alone Brits.
But I am really confused as to why this post is in MBTTUK forum, if you want to go back to Mackay (shudders) so desperately and your partner is still there then why not go - or did I misread your post OP?

Stay where you are love; the walls are softer, the coats much whiter and they're far more advanced with their treatment

Just somebody letting it all out, I think.
I also think this thread might be better off back in MBTTUK, which is obviously where the OP posted it and intended it to be.
