Ocean Reef primary schools
#1
Hi
Anybody on here got kids going to either Ocean Reef primary or Beaumaris
primary and would they recommend them?
We're moving down there next month and will be living pretty much half way
between both schools.
Daughter will be going into year 6 in February, so any opinions, good or bad
on each school would be appreciated.

Hi,
We're not there yet but there is a lady called Bev on aussiemove.com who has recently moved over and has a 10yr old girl at Beaumaris Primary, her username is brownfamily if you want to ask her about it.
Hope this helps.

I know a couple of people who send their kids to Beaumaris and are very happy (including Bev who the above poster refers to). I also know a few people who send their kids to Ocean Reef and are happy.
Go and have a look at both schools and take if from there.

Some teachers there are good BTW, luck of the draw. Anyway the mrs and I are going to see the principal over this, if he does the right thing and resolves the situation I'll report back but to date the classroom teacher, deputy principal and asst. deputy have all done the Pontius Pilate.

Update....
School sorted the issue out in the end. For now I'm happy my kids are going there. I'd like to withdraw my previous comment about not sending your kids there made in the heat of the moment.

Thanks for posting that - its good to hear the follow up to such incidents, and its good to hear that schools are willing to listen.
