Hi,
Does anybody know if a completed NVQ,but not a city and guilds NVQ is valid when you get your skills assessed?
The reason i ask is because i've seen a city and guilds NVQ 2 offered at one college but a closer more convenient college is offering a NVQ 2 without any mention of city and guilds.
Thanks for any help,
Andy

Considering welding, just want to pick the right courses and not waste any time as it will be a very long process anyway.

I think you may have to do a NVQ 111 to qualify for getting your skills assessed. Hopefully someone else will know for sure.

Thanks for the replies, yeah you're right about needing the NVQ to be a level 3 in welding, but most trades seem to be a level 2 as that is the equivalent to an Australian level III diploma.
