Been reading about the meet on Adelaide Brits and would like to join you at Northampton on Sunday

Bit nervous about our first meet, but looking forward to meeting like minded people looking for a better life in oz.

Sorry we couldn't be there but it is a bit of a trek at the mo:D

The funny thing is though we are meeting up with Jane and Russ today so we will be having our own little Northampton meet but here in Brissie.

This is a BIG Thank you to Chris and Sharon for organising todays meet and it was very good. :beer:

It was good to put faces to names and meet other people emigrating to oz and their experiences of the visa process

Hi all,

thanks guys for a great meet! Becky & Craig + Stuart & Michelle - sorry guys that we didn't get time to chat , but hopefully will at another/next meet! :)

it was really good to talk to you all about moving to Oz & it makes you realise that everyone is in the same boat when it comes to gathering info for forms & Visa's :)

Also, we found out that for most people, their Oz move is not meticulously planned down to the last item, as we thought it might be, but mostly everyone is just seeing what happens when they get over there & taking things as they come. This is a great relief as we thought we weren't putting nearly enough effort into researching suburbs & the like! :rolleyes:

Thanks again all & look forward to another meet + thanks Karl & Anne for the initial planning & suggestion of having a meet :D

Sorry we couldn't get to the meet....it took longer than we thought to get back from Cornwall and we were still on the road at 7pm!
