Hi Dave, do you mind telling me who you got your rental with. $800 for 3 weeks seems awful cheap compared to some I've seen.

Cheers,

Denis.

eeek I'm getting into panic mode now....so much to do ...so little time.

this is what we've done so far....

opened Oz bank account

Booked shippers - not taking much have got rid of most of our big furniture

looked at flights (but don't want to book until house completes - in 12 days time )

Need to set up account to transfer funds

Get off this computer and do something more useful

Concentrating on getting the house sold first - then will move onto open bank accounts, book flights, shipping etc. It's like the visa process all over again - want to make plans but cautious until get the ok first.
Viewings start today - so wish me luck (feeling quite nervous! - not me at all!!) Deep down feel our house should sell no problem but still quite jittery. Got to act like I'm in no rush to potential buyers but really I want quick sale and gt out of here now...........

Mike's calling Westpac today to open our accounts.

We have also booked a hire car for 2 weeks from airline-network.co.uk. Got a Mitsubishi Magner so nice and big.

Talking of cars, we've been trawling the net and going round dealers here trying to decide which car to buy when we move. We really fancied a Rav4 but we just can't justify the cost (to us and the planet), so prob go for a saloon.

I am so behind!!!

Only real thing done on the move front is Quarantine booked, so we now have dates we can fly, August 10th

House Sale Agreed, but don't want to do much else, and tempt fate!! Once we have closing date will book shippers, don't want to end up sleeping on the floor!!

Getting ready to sell main car and keep the little one for running around, and so much else to do, I think it is list time.

Deep Breaths..........

Hi Pam

Booked Pets end of last week and got 10th August. So that is nearly a 13week lead time!!! When are you looking at going?

Started doing bits now this weekend as all the efficient people made me feel so guilty!!!
